Who says the era of meeting face-to-face is over?
At UC, you can sit down one-on-one with a Fidelity Retirement Planner to review your plan for saving for retirement and your other financial goals—when and where it’s convenient for you. It’s a service of the UC Retirement Savings Program, and it’s available to you at no additional cost.
“Employees are increasingly facing competing financial priorities,” says Michael Baptista, Executive Director, Human Resources. “That’s why we make Fidelity’s Retirement Planners available for one-on-one meetings. With this service, UC can help employees simplify the decision-making process.”
Studies show that in-person, one-on-one meetings can give retirement savings plan participants the boost they need to make positive changes. According to a 2015 study, people who work with financial advisors are more engaged in their workplace savings plans. They typically contribute 10 percent or more to their employers' plans, and are twice as likely to contribute 20 percent or more.*
Scheduling your on-campus one-on-one consultation is easy. Just go to getguidance.fidelity.com/universityofcalifornia, select your area of interest, and provide your contact information.
